Another southerly brought a smile to the OD’s face. A request from Paul Brotherton for long legs left OD Hunt wishing the same! However he did oblige by sending the fast handicap and Flying 15s from one end of the lake to the other in good winds that strengthened from time to time. Although there were spits and spots of rain throughout the morning, it came to nothing and then cleared for a glorious sunny afternoon.
The 2nd race of the day was the pursuit postponed from Tuesday. The winds had eased a little from the morning but proved to be perfect conditions for the Mirrors which took 1st and 2nd overall
A brief rain shower slightly delayed the 2nd prize giving of the week which had been set up outside!
Evening entertainment was live music
